This Privacy Policy explains the terms under which personal data is shared with Habitat for Humanity New Zealand, how that data is used and your rights with respect to understanding and modifying how it will be collected and used.

Child and Adult Safeguarding Policy

In accordance with its foundational mission principles, Habitat for Humanity New Zealand (HFHNZ) is committed to the highest ethical standards and opposes all forms of discrimination, exploitation and abuse. Our intent is to create and maintain a work and life environment that is safe, productive and respectful for our colleagues and for all we serve. This policy applies to Habitat for Humanity New Zealand and its Affiliates.

Child Protection Policy

Habitat for Humanity New Zealand (HFHNZ) affirms that all children have equal rights to protection from abuse and exploitation regardless of their gender, race, religious or political beliefs, age, physical or mental health, sexual orientation, family or social background, culture, economic status or criminal background. The purpose of this policy is to promote the wellbeing of children and to ensure that all persons working for, with, or on behalf of HFHNZ operate in ways which protect children from all forms of harm. This policy applies to all HFHNZ representatives, including HFHNZ affiliates representatives, working both domestically and internationally.
