Tucked just behind the main ReStore at 166 Tāhunanui Drive, you’ll find the Home Building Supplies Shed, Nelson’s largest selection of quality new and used building materials. It’s the go-to spot for anyone tackling a renovation, repair or creative DIY project.

Inside, you’ll find everything from timber, tiles and tools to fixtures, fittings and hardware. Whether you’re upgrading a kitchen, fixing a fence or starting from scratch, there’s always something useful and often unexpected waiting to be found.

If you’re renovating, we also welcome donations of good-quality materials. Kitchens, bathrooms, doors, windows and leftover building supplies all help keep valuable resources out of landfill while supporting Habitat for Humanity Nelson’s local housing projects.
