Due to renovations there may be limited availability for room hire from August to December 2026.
Regular events take place at the Habitat Hub! These local organisations hold events and activities at our Hub and welcome you to come along, too!
The Habitat Hub has permanent tenants, including The Nelson Community Foodbank, Volunteer Nelson, The Buzz, Mosaic Community Church. Together, we collaborate to serve the Nelson community. Visit us today!

This room is ideal for informal meetings or events. It features an open space with bench seating along the walls, lots of pillows, comfortable sofa chairs with an entrance right next to the Hub front door and rear exit for easy access to ReStore and nook. Café.

The Consult room is a great option for people requiring a meeting space, or anybody needing a quiet place to work.
It is a comfortable place for a small meeting, zoom call, job interview or if you require a one-on-one space.

10am to 11.30 every Friday (term-time only) Come along to our playgroup for babies and pre-schoolers. Join our welcoming space every Friday morning - we have lots of toys for young children to enjoy while parents and caregivers can connect with each other. There is no charge to join in. Our weekly Repair Cafe team fixes items i.e. clothes, uniforms, blankets or toys needing small repairs. Come along and join in, or drop off items to be fixed.
