Earlier this year I joined a friend on a Global Village build in Fiji. I was excited to do some good, and also to have a short holiday whilst in Fiji. What I wasn't anticipating was the impact that the build had on me!
What I also didn't realise is that communities in Fiji are still recovering and rebuilding after Cyclone Winston, which struck in February 2016. Winston, which was the worst storm to ever hit the Southern Hemisphere, left tens of thousands of Fijians homeless.
After having seen first-hand the conditions that many Fijian families are living in, I feel compelled to do what I can to change this. Please help me to build hope in Fiji by donating today.
Your donation will help communities in Fiji to make their homes safer, to train local carpentry and building apprentices, and to build cyclone-resistant Habitat homes for families, all making sure families are more resilient to future disasters.
