Habitat for Humanity Philippines has been serving communities in the Philippines since it's establishment in 1988. In that time, they've built homes across the country for families in need, and assisted communities in building back better after earthquakes, typhoons and floods. They responded to Typhoon Haiyan in 2013, assisting around 60,000 families with recovery after that storm. Your support will help them continue their work in the wake of Typhoon Haima.

Nepal earthquake - Habitat disaster response fund

Nepal earthquake - Habitat disaster response fund

A 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck Nepal on Saturday, 25 April 2015. More than 2,400 people died as a result of the quake and an avalanche was triggered on Mount Everest. The Nepalese government declared a state of emergency in affected areas and appealed for international assistance.

Habitat for Humanity New Zealand is a part of the international Habitat for Humanity response to the earthquakes, partnering with the Nepalese people as we work to rebuild hope and homes in their communities.

We’re grateful to our supporters and partners who give generously to the Habitat disaster response fund. The more funds we raise, the more families we can help.
