Announcing the winners of Habitat Build Challenge
Thank you to everyone who competed, voted and visited the
website in this year’s Habitat for Humanity Build
Challenge.
It was a fantastic first year with over 1000 budding builders
enrolling to enter. We were blown away by the quality and
imagination of so many of the Habitat house builds, that ranged
from a self-sustaining cottage to a flying fortress. The wonderful
descriptions of the builds were an enlightening postscript to all
the creations, and were amusing and thought provoking in equal
measure. It was great to see so many children taking the time to
relate their builds to our mission of providing safe, decent and
affordable housing throughout the world.
There was fierce completion within all age categories for the
winners prizes, with 9,571 votes received across the builds. Thank
you for all your efforts in obtaining votes and sharing your builds
with family and friends.
So, it’s time to announce our winners and say
CONGRATULATIONS!
