Can children join the Global Village trip?
Many families want an opportunity to travel and volunteer together. Since volunteering for Habitat for Humanity involves working on a construction site, there are certain restrictions for participants under 18 for safety reasons.
Approval from the hosting affiliate is required for participants under 18. Children aged 13 and below must be supervised off-site by a parent or guardian at all times. Youth age 14-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, or be part of a chaperoned school, faith or institutional group.
