Volunteering at the Habitat ReStore
The Habitat ReStore makes getting involved as easy as possible. Whether you believe you are skilled or “not so skilled,” have one day each week or just a few hours a month, represent a group or just yourself --you are needed at the Habitat ReStore Please consider giving a little of your time to help this worthy project. Your efforts will help Habitat for Humanity make a difference in the lives of Greater Auckland residents!
Individuals-Volunteer staff positions are flexible so that they work with your busy schedule. You can even design your own position that highlights your unique skills and interests!
Groups-Work days can be arranged that are both fun for your group and tackle a 'special project' of the ReStore all at the same time!
Corporate-Your company can register by group or ReStore opportunities can be shared with individual employees as an option for your company's community service program. ReStore participates in corporate match and giving programs, if available, allowing your company to support causes important to your employees.
Personal Development Activities-Some individuals just can't commit to a long-term volunteer position, but that doesn't mean that they can't volunteer. If you only have one Saturday a year, breaks from school, or are looking for a one-time family/couples activity, ReStore has the perfect opportunity! These development activities are designed to be completed in just a few hours; giving a real sense of accomplishment. It gives everyone the opportunity to give of their time and contribute to our cause without a long-term commitment.
Here are just a few of the Volunteer benefits:
- Help the environment and community
- Meet new and interesting people
- Plus much, much, more!!
