About Us
The Habitat for Humanity Nelson Affiliate came into being in 1996 and we dedicated our first completed home in 1998. Since then we have built one house a year for a family in need. All of our houses have been built on hillsides and are within walking distance to shops, parks, local schools & colleges.
 
Three of the Nelson homes have now been fully purchased by the partner families.
 
 
Supporters
Local volunteers have included teams from various church groups, local businesses, the Nelson Police, as well as the many tradesmen who give their time to help us out.
 
We have also hosted Global Village teams from overseas as well as teams from the NZ Army engineer squadrons at Linton Army Camp.
